Personally Identifiable Information You Provide Us.
All Users have the option of providing personally identifiable information to Alpenclimb through the Site. Personally identifiable information may include, without limitation, your name, mailing address, telephone number, gender, age, e-mail address or any other information that identifies you or allows people to contact you. Alpenclimb may collect any personally identifiable information that you voluntarily supply on any of the Site’s pages. Alpenclimb also collects and stores any personally identifiable information that you provide when you use any functionality on the Site, ask a question, complete a form, or send us an email. Please be advised that you are not obligated or required to submit any personally identifiable information via the Site; however, if you do not provide the requested information, you may not be able to access or use certain features and functions of our Site and Alpenclimb may not be able to provide you with certain services.
Information Collected Automatically.
When you visit the Site, Alpenclimb automatically collects certain information about your visit using tracking technology. Such information may include, without limitation, your Internet Protocol address (“IP Address”), your unique device or user ID, system and browser type, the referring address website, the content and pages that you access on the Site, and the dates and times that you visit the Site. Alpenclimb may also capture the user agent string from your device which helps us classify the type of device you are using to interact with the Site (e.g. desktop, tablet, mobile device). The user agent string does not, however, collect any personally identifiable information. As further discussed below, Alpenclimb uses technology, including cookies, web beacons, and other similar technology, to automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information that Alpenclimb may then use for system administration, troubleshooting, general user statistics and analysis and to identify you when you visit the Site through your computer or mobile device to help us enhance your online experience and make our advertising more relevant to you. Certain features of the Site are only available through the use of this technology. In addition, aggregate download information may also be collected from this non-personally identifiable information. Alpenclimb may use this data for improving the products and services offered by us.
Cookies, Web Beacons and other Technology.
“Web beacons” (also known as “single-pixel” or “clear” GIFs) include electronic images imbedded in the Site or in communications sent to you which are invisible to you. Web beacons collect information, such as identifiers, time and date of access, and descriptions of the pages or communications in which the web beacons are imbedded. The Site and communications sent by Alpenclimb to you may include web beacons. Alpenclimb may use the web beacons on the Site and in such communications for various purposes, including, without limitation, to track users who have visited the Site or who have accessed such communications.
Data From Other Sources.
In order to provide the services or certain offers to you in connection with this Site, Alpenclimb may also supplement your information (whether or not personally identifiable) with information from third party sources with whom we have contracted for the purpose of verifying the contact information you have provided. Alpenclimb may also obtain information about you from other sources, including affiliates, data aggregators, and public databases. The information Alpenclimb collects may be combined to create a more detailed picture of you, which allows us to better understand the products and services you might be interested in. Please note that Alpenclimb is not responsible for any actions, content of websites, or privacy policies of any such third parties. Please read and understand the applicable privacy policies of third parties when providing information via such third party websites or applications.
